This poster can't b to complicated as its just promoting a fit tan body. So i did that plus adding fern woods new promotion colours (hot pink & black) i played with the famous logo replacing the word "fitness" with "tanning"

Extra gum

So the 'andy warhol' soup can idea didn't end up working as there is only 4 extra gum packets and 4 active strip packets and i tried it out but it just didn't connect with the soup cans.

So i was struggling on what to do so i decided to promote one.

This was my first idea -

I felt the gum at the top was a distraction, it wasn't doing the poster any good so i played around n came up with this -

when you think of gum, your always out so i played with the idea of taking some gum, trying it out. Like one those sale pin boards were u take a number if your interested. I think its a cool idea and I'm much happier with this layout than the previous :) i think the lil donut man is cute as he looks shocked... like thinking 'oh shittt' because its the classic extra add that it kills germs.

This is my fruit poster... i went for a minimalist effect. It may look simple but it took me a long time as i went through manyyyyyyyy ideas. This is the one I've chosen for now, but who knows, i may change my mind again.

Time Line

So this negotiated study takes a lot of organisation and planning. I will need models, studio bookings, time to practice tutorials and the editing/ creating process time.

It is now week 8 and I'm still gathering information, ideas, finding the right models and so forth.

I feel that the holidays will give me a lot of time to focus on this and to really get creative.

First poster i will attempt is the cigarette (typography) poster. I will be working on this during week 8-9 as this one doesn't consist 'studio' images.

Second will be my fruit advertisement. I can take pictures of all fruits without the studio. This one may take some time with all the placement and adjusting that will be required. i will commence this one during weeks 9 - 10.

Third will be my 'extra gum' advert. This may require studio time if i stick to my plans. This will be started by weeks 10-11

Forth will be Fernwood spray tanning. This one i was going to leave quite basic but i will need studio time for this. It will begin in week 12-13.

Fifth will be my biggest challenge. The forero rashers advert. This one will test my photoshop skills more than any other with what i have planned. By leaving it till last ill have numerous weeks to complete. Hopefully ill be finished by weeks 13-15.

Which leaves me weeks 16 to touch up, change up and print up for submission :)

I chose these 5 promotions/ products to challenge my creative ability to think outside the box. Im going to try some typography and digital art techniques to explore my options on photoshop and illustrator.
